The text emphasizes the biochemical aspects of toxicology at the cellular and molecular levels, and readers are assumed to have some background in chemistry, biochemistry, and animal physiology. In this third edition, new contributors describe the latest work in their respective areas of specialization and discuss emerging topics such as molecular biological aspects of technology.
