This work constitutes the first step of a project whose purpose is. to present examples of minimal surfaces with a minimum of theory. It has been written as Notes for a short course to bo given in the "V Escola de Geometria Diferencial" at the "Universidade de Sao Paulo", from July 30th to August 3-rd of 1984.
