This Sixth Conference in the series "Probability Measures on
Groups" held at the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach
extends a well-established tradition: Participants of ten different
countries contributed to an inspiring atmosphere and helped promoting
the exchange of ideas on recent advances and new directions of
research in the field. As usual the meeting received a favorable
reception from various areas of stochastics and analysis covering
probability theory and potential theory on algebraic-topological
structures as well as their interrelations with the structure theory
of locally compact groups, Banach spaces and Banach lattices.
