Название: Ordinary Differential Equations in Theory and Practice
Авторы: Robert Mattheij, Jaap Molenaar
Аннотация:
When we wrote Ordinary Differential Equations in Theory and Practice, we were convinced of the need for a book that would combine analytical and
numerical techniques as two sides of the same coin. Moreover, it should provide a solid introduction to mathematical modelling. Since then a number
of other books have appeared, in other fields as well, that combine analysis and numerics of ordinary differential equations. In general, the distinction between formerly rather disjoint areas of mathematical subdisciplines is becoming obsolete. This holds in particular for textbooks that are intended for the growing audience working in the broad area of computational science and engineering.
