This volume presents some of the mathematical methods which are needed in the study of climate and environment.
From a mathematical point of view, these fundamental questions can be considered as (difficult) problems in partial differential equations from a local (or global) viewpoint in space variables for the environment (or the climate) with various time horizons, depending on the problem we want to address.
