We will briefly present the main results of the five chapters of this work. The chapters can be read independently. Throughout the presentation of Chapter 1 to 4, by operator we mean a linear operator on a finite dimensional, real or complex Hilbert space H. Chapter 5 is specific to infinite dimensional spaces.
