Following the great success of the 2005 International Conference on Computational
Intelligence and Security (CIS 2005) held in Xi’an, China, CIS 2006
provided a leading international forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners
from both academia and industry to share experience and exchange and
cross-fertilize ideas on all areas of computational intelligence and information
security. The conference serves as a forum for the dissemination of the stateof-
the-art research, development, and implementations of systems, technologies
and applications in these two broad, interrelated fields.
