This book is intended for the person who requires a working knowledge of ultrasonics but who may not have the necessary background in physics, mathematics, and electronics normally expected of readers of most existing works in the field. It is based on the author's Fundamentals of Ultrasonics, but ihe academic level has been lowered considerably and the scope has baen extended to cover a wider range of practical applications.
