This book presents current theoretical and practical results, emphasizing the most promising applications of multirate systems. Nine chapters discus filter banks, wavelet transforms, multirate filtering, A/D conversion applications, subband coding of signals, speech and audio signal applications, applications of filter banks to communications, and design and implementation of multirate digital filters. Contributors are all electrical engineers.
