This text is intended for researchers in health services, medicines use and
professional practice who are undertaking a multi-centre research
project involving data collection in, or relating to, more than one
country. Research across international boundaries presents its own
challenges in that attention has to be paid to the relevance of research
objectives, and feasibility of procedures in different settings while
maintaining a scientific approach in terms of design, instruments and
execution.
