Аннотация:

Wavelet Toolware is an easy-to-use companion software package to the book An Introduction to Wavelets. It is designed for the reader to gain hands-on experience in the subject of wavelets. The package contains simple signal processing applications, one-dimensional (l-D) and two-dimensional (2-D) Discrete Wavelet Transforms (DWTs) and their inverse transforms, and computations of the Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) and the Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT).

The package includes an 80-page user's manual which provides the basics of wavelet theory and shows how they can apply to engineering problems. The manual also contains several major algorithms which can be applied during software practice sessions, giving the reader the tools to apply the basic aspects of wavelet analysis to problems of their respective disciplines.
