The book aims to have the readers build a cash flow model for structured finance and securitization deals by following step-by-step instructions. The author explains individual functions and formulas, while also providing the theory behind the spreadsheets. Each chapter begins with an explanation of theory, followed by a section called "Model Builder," in which the author translates the theory into functions and formulas. In addition, a companion CD will feature all of the modeling exercises, as well as a final version of the model that is created in the text.
