IT governance is the organizational capacity to control the formulation and implementation of IT strategy. In this collection of recent research in the field, Van Grembergen (professor and chair, MIS Department, University of Antwerp, The Netherlands) presents material on IT governance models, processes, and mechanisms. Chapters, 14 in all, are written by academics and practitioners from Europe, the UK, and the US, and introduce IT governance frameworks, review performance management mechanisms, and show how IT governance can work in practice. The book is of interest to students in technology programs.
