Penrod (composition, Rowan University) discusses the effect of computer technology, online courses, and networked writing on assessment and the traditional classroom. She explores how interactive, computer based material in writing and assessment has changed traditional literacy practice while offering the teacher an opportunity to create new models for thinking and writing. This work is designed for educators who are integrating technology into their classrooms, as well as graduate students interested in online writing and teaching.
