The Cultural Forum, Manipur was founded bу the lovers and
sympathaisers of literature, art and culture on the Мау 17, 1959. Since
then the Forum has Ьееn actively involved in developing Manipuri literature,
art and сulture. The Forum is recognized by Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi.
А Ьi-monthly journal named Ritu is regularly being produced. F orum has
Ьееn conducting seminars, workshops, symposiums, etc. iп different themes
from time to time. Such achievements are practising with pain-staking Ьу
the members of the Forum and also with the help of the language lovers
and sympathisers of Manipuri literature.
In Manipuri, although there exists а few number of Ьilingual
dictionary, there has not been compiled any such kind of dictionary
purely based on Manipuri verbal forms. То supplement this gap
Prof. Р. Madhubala's Manipuri Verbal Dictionary is contributed under
the banner of the F orum. F or narrowing the lacuna in the :field of language
and literature, the F orum would like to acknowledge the contribution of
Prof. Р. Madhubala's for the Manipuri-English Verbal Dictionary.
Now, the book is placed in the hand of the readers and the lovers
of Manipuri language and literature.
