This work aims to take theologcal bioethics beyond the parameters that usually define its role in public discourse today. Secular bioethics and policymakers seem anxious to keep explicitly religious views off the table and assume that religion leads in a socially conservative direction, obstructing scientific advancement and going against the tide of enlightened cosial policy.
