known, has made a return to mainstream popularity as an effective
weight loss diet. Essentially, the Keto Diet is a high-fat and low-carb
diet that may help in losing weight and providing more energy,
among other benefits.
The sudden and drastic reduction of carbs puts the body into a
metabolic state called Ketosis, a state in which the body becomes
efficient at burning fat for energy. Additionally, this process produces
Ketones, which are not only used as energy for the brain, but have
also been shown to curb appetite, a factor which may also help in
losing weight by reducing food consumption.
This book is for people who would like to discover more about the
Ketogenic diet, but are worried that they may get things wrong. The
