In spite of more than a quarter of a century since the tragic accident of “Chernobyl” that took place in 1986, the tragedy still evokes painful memories with any mention of the word “nuclear.” In this sense, this has
negatively affected plans to promote nuclear awareness about the peaceful application of nuclear energy. Arguably, nuclear technology plays a fundamental role in pushing the wheel of sustainable development in various sectors such as the economy, health, industry, and the environment. It is beyond the mere thought of an ‘atomic bomb,” and thus it is essential to dispute the idea of seeing nuclear technology as being as the “empty half cup” and instead we must look at it from the perspective of the “half-filled.”
