The paths connecting the initial intentions of the authors and the published
book every so often turn out to be so unique that their description deserves
a special account which is hardly interesting for readers. Besides, the plea-
pleasure which the story-teller usually finds in the account can not overshadow
the main event — the actual publishing of the book.
The coming out of a book provides its authors with a worthy cause for
happiness. It should be remarked, however, that the happiness becomes
complete only after the last copy of the published book finds its reader for
whom the book is both necessary and useful. Completing the work on the
manuscript the authors hope to experience this happiness as well.
We sincerely hope that this happiness will be shared along with us by
all those contributing to the publishing of the book. In addition to the
publishing house and the authors placed on its cover, there exist others
participating in the event. None of the authors are able to overestimate
their combined efforts in the publishing of the handbook.
