The main objective of this book is to present a systematic text on the design of steel structures based on the latest Indian Standard codes. The book covers the funda­ mental aspects of analysis and design, and also discusses practical requirements such as safety, feasibility, and economy of steel structures. Theoretical concepts regarding the strength of materials are applied to the design of steel structures based on given specifications.
