In recent decades, the quantum theOry of atomic, nuclear and particle physics has made great progress and this is true for the fundamental as well as for the applied branches of these sciences.Presently,QCD is considered to be the best available fundamental theory of strong interactions and their associated field theories.But the fundamental approach is not helpful for few- and many-body nuclear systems. QCD-specific substructures of nucleons remain hidden and, because of this, a fully microscopic treatment is not efficient.
