My first memory of a computer game was a set of
paddles linked to a black and white TV; the
object of the game was to bat the ball past your
opponent to score points. I was a child at the
time, but I played those paddles to pieces. My
first memory of a computer was the VIC20, the
property of my uncle who would let me play it
from time to time. You can guess what my
Christmas present was. Due to the price my
parents had to pay, it was my only present, and it
was the biggest present I would ever get. It was
my future in a box.
