rapidly advanced with new instrumentation and surgical
techniques. Surgeons in these fi elds stay abreast
by attending scientifi c meetings, by participating in
hands-on laboratory workshops and by reading the
literature. Th is surgical book fi lls the void of a single
concise surgical-atlas-like book that contains precise
description of the surgical techniques used in rhinology
and sleep apnea surgery. We have invited internationally
recognized faculty with extensive experience
to author the chapters. Th ese authors share their wisdom
on each topic through diagrammatic and illustrated
chapters with the purpose of providing the basis
for the successful management of the surgical rhinologic
