This book is about membrane science and nano-micro engineering techniques, merging into one
new exciting technology referred to as 'Nano and Micro Engineered Membrane Technology'.
New tools are discussed in order to design and fabricate advanced nano-micro engineered
membranes, looking very much like the model membrane structures as originally depicted in
many textbooks on membrane technology, but which up to now were not easy to realise.
