This book derives from a three day international meeting in Edinburgh, Scotland held in
June 2011. It was the second such meeting organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry,
the Society of Chemical Industry (SCI) and the Institute of Water with the first being held
in 1995 in Leeds, England. Delegates from 28 countries attended this Edinburgh event.
