ТСАЗ is a mouse CC chemokine that mediates chemotaxis and activation of neutrophils and macrophages. TCA3 also affects the growth and survival of some T lymphocytes, mesangial and vascular smooth muscle cells. TCA3 expression is restricted to antigen-activated T cells and mast cells. It is a high-affinity ligand for the chemokine receptor CCR8 plus at least one additional receptor yet to be identified.
