With the September 2013 issue, we undergo a name change: International Sociology Reviews (ISR) continues what was begun as International Sociology Review of Books (ISRB). The new, simpler name, highlights our ambition to revive part of the original mission of the journal, namely to serve as a venue for reviewing different types of materials of interest to an international community of sociologists.
