This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Trust Management, iTrust 2006, held in Pisa, Italy, in May 2006.
The 30 revised full papers and 4 revised short papers presented together with 1 keynote paper and 7 trust management tool and systems demonstration reports were carefully reviewed and selected from 88 submissions. Besides technical issues in distributed computing and open systems, topics from law, social sciences, business, and philosophy are addressed in order to foster the development of new paradigms in the area of trust management in dynamic open systems and their integration within the emerging architectures for grid computing and virtual organizations.
