Название: Metaphysical Presuppositions of Being-in-the-World: A Confrontation Between St. Thomas Aquinas and Martin Heidegger
Автор: Gilson C.
Аннотация:
I have never seen an interpretation of Heidegger in this manner; it is original, passionate and groundbreaking though not without its interpretive cracks. I am not in full agreement with her notion of Kantian finitude nor of certain aspects of her Husserl chapter. I find her understanding of the later Heidegger, her notion of a primal idealism and the interpretive possibilities of the fourfold to be flawless, perhaps without compare. Her epilogue on Christianity and tragedy is substantial, indeed radical; it raises the book to a whole new level. This brief and startling meditation on Christian tragedy requires a sustained treatment. An epilogue is not sufficient. The book is profound, it has exceeded my expectations.
