Modern Functional Analysis is the study of infinite-dimensional vector spaces and operators acting between these spaces, based upon the notion of convergence. The main ideas used are those of locally convex topology and of convex bornology. The present course gives, for the first time, an introductory exposition of the theory of Bornology and its use in Functional Analysis.
