This book was, in a very real sense, a community effort. When the CCRP sponsored the formation of the Information Superiority Metrics Working Group (ISMWG) in early 2000, it was our hope that the collegial exchanges would take the discussion of Information Superiority and Network Centric Warfare to the next level—a level where these ideas could be rigorously tested both analytically and experimentally. We are very pleased that this turned out to be the case.
