The management of library automation systems as well as other technologies related to information management remains a delicate and touchy question. As we know, many organizations in countries from Africa, Asia, Latin and South America do not have resources which allow them to access technological tools as effective as those we find in developed countries. This inequality threatens the fundamental principles of access to information promoted by IFLA.
