The bulk of the very first draft of the present volume was written quite a while ago. A long period of very painful struggling followed, which is far from over yet. My whole life, with each new day, seems to vindicate the arguments I have put forward in this work. This should be pleasing, if I could look at it from outside. But I am in it: it is tiring, and there is no end to it in sight.
