SERAP AKSOY, PhD received her BS at Vassar College and her PhD in Biology from Colombia University. She conducted post-doctoral training at Yale School of Medicine where she became an Assistant Professor in 1990. Dr. Aksoy is the current Division Head of Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases at Yale School of Public Health. Her main research interests center on control of microbial infectious diseases in the developing world.
