Название: Problems in solid state physics

Автор: Goldsmid H.J. (ed.)

Аннотация:

There can be few undergraduate physics courses at colleges and universities that do not place some emphasis on the study of the solid state, and in many cases this study is made to some considerable depth. There are also a great many postgraduate courses on the various aspects of solid-state physics. To meet the needs of students on such courses, there are several excellent textbooks, some of which include a number of problems to be tackled by the reader. There does, however, seem to be a real need for a wider selection of problems and solutions for use by teachers and students of solid-state physics, and it is with this in mind that the present book has been prepared. It is intended particularly for use bv final-year undergraduates and postgraduate students.
