Through a new method, the following model is solved exactly in the framework of classical equilibrium tatistical mechanics of two-dimensional Coulomb systems, for the special value F = 2 of the coupling constant: he mobile chargesof a one-component plasma are attracted by a line of equidistant sticky adsorption sites embedded in a background, the density of which varies in the direction orthogonal to the line.
