The exponent a of the specific heat C is determined for the pure and the site-diluted
simple cubic Ising model (concentration x = 0, 0.2, 0.4 of nonmagnetic sites) by
a finite-size scaling analysis of the peak value C_max(L) for systems of linear
dimensions L = 8, 16, 32, and 64.
