One of the most important goals of studying chaos is to find universalities. In one-dimensional unimodal maps universalities are well exhibited. For example, the Feigenbaum exponent /delta which describes the rate of convergence of bifurcation point toward the accumulation point is universal. (1) Furthermore, applying a renormalization operation to a one-dimensional quadratic map, it is found that this operator has a unique fixed point.
