Soliton in optical fiber communications is a key technology for Giga-bps data transmission. The trade-off between linear and nonlinear dispersions plays important role in the phenomena. In this paper, we shall demonstrate the propagation of solitons in two-dimensional nonlinear optical waveguide with dispersive characteristics by making use of finite difference time domain (FDTD) method. In the conventional FDTD analysis, the computational window was fixed and the size was relatively small. In this paper, by shifting the computational window, we confirmed the soliton propagation up to 1000 [μm]
