This book contains material which has been presented in lectures to third year students at the University of Adelaide for a number of years.
These students have had a separate course on matrix algebra, and my experience has been that by following these courses even the less gifted students acquire a good basic understanding of quantum mechanics and the ability to solve a range of interesting problems.
This little book may also be of interest to those who already have a knowledge of quantum mechanics and wish to see the subject from a point of view different from that adopted in most elementary text-books.
